Day 1 – First post – Small Steps and Non-Attachment.
So here I am, finally, launching a Website and starting a Blog. It certainly took me long enough. It was something that I’d given thought to through the years, as a forum to share my desire to teach with more people than I can see in my private practice, but the need never jumped to the top of my priority list. And then, quite simply, someone sent me an email with an ad, I didn’t end up working with that company yet it was just enough of a spark to motivate me to take the leap.
It’s going to take me a while to get things set up; the right look, buttons, photos and phrases. Small steps. Most importantly, I will need to practice non-attachment to the outcome. It is something that I’m putting out there, but I will have no control over who will see it or how it will be received.
In the next few weeks I hope to create a page of my favorite teachers/authors and suggested readings. I will then add to that over time. My Blog will also, hopefully, have more of a ‘teaching’ aspect to it. But this is just my launch. I am, as my website, a product that is constantly being modified, constantly changing, learning, evolving. This is an experiment, a challenge. Perhaps in a way this is my moon landing (something I actually remember watching.) A bit terrifying. One small step, one giant leap…
(BTW – If you’re here, reading this. Thank you for being a part of my journey.)
